The Sahasrara Chakra, also known as the crown chakra, is the seventh main energy center. For many, it holds great importance as it connects us with the Universe, God, Source, or whatever higher power you believe in. Unlike the other chakras, it is not located on the body but slightly above the head, and it is associated with the pituitary gland.

When we live with a strong need to control others or hold on to earthly attachments—such as material possessions or wealth—our crown chakra tends to close. This creates a barrier to connecting with higher energies. I often hear people say they want to connect “up there,” but the real question is: how can you connect “up there” if you struggle to connect “down here”?

The foundation of connection begins with being grounded on Earth, where you live. Grounding is the first essential step. Without it, you risk becoming disconnected, living too much in your head, and feeling unbalanced—what some might describe as being “airy.”

Finding Balance Between the Earth and Higher Energies

People who focus solely on the upper connection often attempt to control life itself. However, true harmony comes from grounding first. When you ground yourself, you can connect with higher energies more easily and naturally.

Attempting to control others or life often leads to losing control of yourself. This imbalance can manifest in physical challenges, such as difficulties with metabolism, weight issues, or hormonal imbalances, as the pituitary gland—known as the “king of the glands”—is impacted.

It’s important to note that not every person who struggles with weight has control issues. However, if someone has done everything possible to lose weight—such as changing their diet, exercising regularly, avoiding late-night eating—but still cannot shed pounds or continues to gain, it may be worth examining whether the need to control others is playing a role. Addressing this internal aspect could help uncover the root cause of the challenge.

Instead of trying to control, let go. Surrender to life’s flow, allow fear to dissipate, and trust the process.

Steps to Connection

There is a process to fully connect with higher energies, starting with grounding. As the saying goes, as above, so below. Once you have established a strong connection to the earth, I can guide you on how to protect yourself from unwanted energies. Only then will you be ready to connect with higher energies in a balanced and protected way.

Are you ready to take the first step toward grounding and connection? Let’s begin this transformative journey together.
